KPMG fined £5m over Co-operative Bank audit

Image copyright Getty Images KPMG has been fined £5m and “severely reprimanded” after admitting misconduct in its 2009 audit of Co-operative Bank. The Financial Reporting Council (FRC) said KPMG’s bad auditing came in the wake of Co-operative Bank’s merger with building society Britannia. Amazon Allegedly Fired 7 Pregnant Warehouse Workers For Taking Too Many Bathroom Breaks

Seven former Amazon warehouse workers say the tech giant discriminated against them because they couldn’t keep up with the fast pace and labor intensive job while pregnant.  CNET reported on Monday that seven lawsuits have been filed against Amazon in the last four years alleging that the company fired the workers because they were pregnant.
