On Politics: Trade Deal With China Is in Jeopardy

Mr. Trump awarded Tiger Woods with the Presidential Medal of Freedom, the nation’s highest civilian honor. The decision to honor Mr. Woods in the Rose Garden was the perfect way to reward someone who has supported Mr. Trump as other athletes distanced themselves from him.

The president is embracing a traditional campaign fund-raising format, complete with super PACs. It’s a system he once mocked, but an example of his acceptance that he’s the candidate of the establishment this time around.

Stephanie Winston Wolkoff, a former adviser to the first lady who played a key role in planning Mr. Trump’s inaugural festivities, says she was “thrown under the bus” by the administration.
