An investigation from The New York Times and The El Paso Times into the migrant detention center in Clint, Tex., found nightmarish conditions at a facility where hundreds of children are held.
• Top Trump administration immigration officials contested reports that migrant children were being held in horrific conditions, including the president himself, who tweeted that The Times’s story was “phony and exaggerated.”
